Near Eastern Languages and Cultures | Advanced Arabic I
A660 | 20046 | Istrabadi, Zaineb
This is a low-advanced level course, which revolves around two axes:
the raw material of vocabulary and grammar and the skills of reading,
speaking, listening, and writing. These objectives are achieved
through intensive oral/aural practice using audio and video materials.
In addition to working on all language skills, special attention will
be given to the grammar and vocabulary. The course will provide ample
opportunities to practice Arabic grammar and vocabulary in realistic
contexts, especially outside of the classroom, which will help the
students shape this raw material into the skills of reading,
listening, speaking, and writing.
