This course is an overview of the field of biotechnology, starting
with a review of basic molecular and cellular processes.  We will
follow this section with an introduction to the general technical
approaches used in molecular biotechnology always focusing on how
these tools can be applied in real-world settings.  Along the way,
we examine several case studies and consider legal and ethical
implications of biotechnology.
