Study of the major developments of modern Italian cinema. This
course introduces students to the New Italian Cinema and in
particular to the films of Moretti, Soldini, Tornatore, Amelio,
Salvatores, Archibugi, Comencini, Ozpetek, Sorrentino, Muccini and
Garrone.
Other filmmakers are studied and discussed from different
perspectives.
