In this integrative course, students learn to utilize authoritative
information to synthesize a holistic understanding of the properties
of psychoactive plant compounds. An interdisciplinary approach is
used to examine the effects of herbal medications on physiology and
behavior as well as the benefits and dangers associated with their use.
