This class for graduates only, meets with J301 undergraduate sections
J533 is designed to expand upon the skills and knowledge acquired in
the first two years of Japanese language courses. Students will
continue to develop the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and
writing) as well as cultural proficiency.
The class meets five times a week and all classes will be conducted
mainly in Japanese. In three of the classes (MWF), students will be
introduced to the new materials and in two of the classes (TR),
students will practice the materials introduced in MWF classes.
Students will be graded on the basis of classroom attendance and
performance, homework assignments, quizzes and tests, and a final exam.
