By definition, a clitic is a linguistic unit whose behavior does not
straightforwardly fall in line what is observed with affixes or what
characterizes independent words.  This course offers an in-depth study
of problems relating to the analysis of clitics in the modern
Gallo-Romance languages and dialects.
