Legal Issues in Sport Settings (3 cr.) The course purpose is to
provide a fundamental understanding of the American system of
jurisprudence, statutory, tort, contract, trademark, and
constitutional laws while educating students about the legal risks
and issues inherent in the management of sport programs as a way to
avoid or reduce the probability of litigation.
