Provides a conceptual framework for writing, designing, and
evaluating a variety of media products. This is not a hands-on
production course but does offer an overview of the production
process. Topics include scriptwriting, production design,
visualization, composition, editing styles, and others. This course
is a prerequisite for advanced-level courses in the
design/production area.

This course counts toward Arts and Humanities distribution
requirements in the College of Arts and Sciences. It may, or may
not, also count toward other degree requirements. For more
