Advanced Estonian I

The course is designed to improve the students' knowledge of Estonian grammar (morphology, syntax), oral skills (class discussion of newspaper articles, pieces of fiction and poetry, oral presentations), writing skills (journal writing, summaries of newspaper articles and short essays) and listening comprehension (TV broadcasts, audio tape recordings).

Exams: Mid-term and final examination, quizzes on vocabulary and grammar every other week.

Days and Time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:05-9:55.
