An introductory survey if Italian sculpture, painting, and architecture during the most
fruitful period that Western Art has ever witnessed: the development of Early Renaissance style in
the 15th century; the High Renaissance of the 16th century; and the period of the High Baroque in
the 17th century.  The course will focus primarily on the works of major artists such as Masaccio,
Michelangelo, Raphael, and Bernini.
