Advanced Finnish I
Skills in the Finnish language will be improved by reading a selection of (real) texts written by
Finnish writers and journalists, by active writing and listening to audiotapes, and following
videotapes to understand the Finnish language and to activate oral communicative skills.
Exams: There is no exam in this class, but the student must be very active in class work.
Grading: Assignments 20%; participation and home work 80%.
Days and Time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:05-9:55.
