This course is designed to improve the students' proficiency in all aspects of the language. It will include mastering complex grammatical forms, understanding and producing idiomatic and educated speech, reading authentic texts, both fiction and nonfiction. Longer writing assignments will enhance students' mastery of written Turkish. Classes will be conducted in Turkish.

There will be a 15-20 minute quiz at the end of each subject covered, an oral exam, a midterm, and a final exam.
