Course Description and Content

An examination of the contemporary retail environment as it
relates to basic marketing and management principles and the
current organizational structures within a retail environment.

Required Texts and Readings

Daily editions of Women's Wear Daily as well as other
supplemental materials that relate to course topics will be
assigned as deemed necessary by the instructor.

Outline Course Requirements

Course evaluation is based on tests, quizzes and discussions of
current readings applicable to merchandising principles.
