Students will acquire a greater appreciation for Latin prose style, and
the differences between Latin and English idiom and style by 1) reviewing
grammar and composing Latin sentences and, eventually, paragraphs; 2)
studying samples from Latin prose authors; and 3) learning and practicing
techniques for sight reading.
