Topic: Figurative Sculpture.  The purpose of this course is to develop the students' awareness
of form and space through the modeling of the human figure.  Students study the fundamental
properties of sculpture, such as line, texture, mass, weight, and proportion.  The class looks at
the tradition of the figurative image, going back to the beginning of human history.
