Fine Arts | Sculpture II
S371 | ALL | Staff

Sculpture II is a series of courses that builds on the experiences of S270. Courses are
designed to give the student concentrated blocks of time to develop skills in a particular
sculpture methodology, both traditional or contemporary. Sections of S371 are offered each
semester that represent the different materials and traditions within the wide field of sculpture
(e.g., figure modeling, casting, steel and wood construction, carving, installation art, and public
art.) The emphasis of these courses will be on the exploration of ideas through the sculptural
form and the knowledge of materials and historical traditions. May be repeated for a total of six
credit hours.
