Introduction to Computer Cartography provides an introduction both to the
craft of mapmaking and to the computer techniques used in contemporary map
development.  The course is divided into two parts.  During the first,
lectures and activities familiarize students with the basic principles of
effective cartography; during the second part, students hone these
mapmaking skills by developing and executing individualized cartographic
projects.

G237 fulfills the NMMC distribution requirement.
