Prerequisite: G300 with a minimum grade of C-. Recommended: G330.

An introduction to German culture and civilization after World War II. The
course will focus on the history of the two German states before reunification
as well as examine different perspectives on political, social, and cultural
questions in present-day Germany (e.g. East-West integration, foreigners,
Jews, EC). Lectures in German, discussions in German or English.
