S331 The Hispanic World I (3 credits)
P: S310 or S311 or equivalent
This course focuses on the connection between an author's social-historical
context and his/her literary production. We examine a variety of literary
genres (short story, poetry, and drama) and a wide range of Spanish
American authors and countries. Course requirements include active daily
involvement in class, two exams, and one term paper. Credit given for only
two of the following: S331, S332, S333.
