This sections meets with Honors H230.

A quick overview of the origin and development of the universe focusing on
cosmology, plate tectonics and biological evolution, with some
consideration of why anyone would believe such things (and of why some
people resist accepting some of the parts that are very powerful science).
A Saturday excursion will allow us to dig fossils and visit the Cincinnati
zoo. [This course is my answer to the question: What is the most exciting
science we can consider?]
