Honors | Mathematics
M213 | 3200 | Peters

As described in the College Bulletin, the basic content of Mathematics
M213 is both Calculus I (M211) and Calculus II (M212). In addition, our
class will attempt to focus greater attention on formal explanations and
proofs for several of the key theorems in elementary calculus. Grading
will be based on regularly scheduled quizzes and examinations. Special
homework projects will also be assigned throughout the term. And, finally,
the major goal of our work will be to utilize infinite series techniques
to explore a variety of approximations as well as many newer integrals.
