COURSE PREREQUISITES:
Brown Belt (3rd Kup) or higher technical level in hapkido or permission of
the instructor.

CLASS MEETING:
2 fifty minute periods per week

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Designed to be a Hapkido black belt preparation class and to give students
an increased under-standing and an appreciation of the art of Hapkido.
Content emphasis involves advanced applications of hapkido and self defense
techniques along with advanced conceptual and philosophical principles.
Students should achieve the achieve the technical level of red belt (2nd
Kup) or higher in Hapkido by finals.

GRADING:
Your grade in this class will be determined as follows:
4)	One paper (30%)
5)	2 skills exams (70%)
6)	Attendance will not be a factor in determining your grade unless you
miss more than three (3) times during the semester.

ATTENDANCE:
Students are allowed a maximum of three (3) absences.  Upon a fourth
absence, a student has 3 options:
1)	receive a grade of F;
2)	officially withdraw from the class;
3)	follow an appeal procedure with the instructor and/or the Elective
Program Coordinator.

EQUIPMENT:
Each student is required to have a martial arts uniform.
