Section 6603 meets for one 75 minute period four times per week for the
SECOND EIGHT WEEKS ONLY!

Section 6604 meets for one 75 minute period two times per week for the
entire semester.

TEXTBOOK:
Obtained at Red Cross Office (not available in bookstores)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will prepare students to teach swimming from Levels I-VII; Basic
Water
Safety: Emergency Water Safety; Aquatics; Infant, Preschool, Toddlers, Water
Safety Aide.

Students will participate in two practice teachings and accompanying lesson
plans.

ATTENDANCE:
Students are allowed a maximum of three (3) absences.  Upon a fourth
absence, the student has three (3) options:
1)  receive a grade of F;
2)  officially withdraw from the class;
3)  follow an appeal procedure through your instructor and/or the Elective
Program
Coordinator.

GRADES WILL BE DETERMINED AS FOLLOWS:

Final Test         -   30%
