Leisure in Modern Society

Description:  We explore leisure's similarities and differences in
cultures--ancient, global, and American.  Within this overall structure, we
also seek to know leisure's psychological, sociological, economic,
political, health, and educational issues.

Goals:  To continue the foundations set in HPER R160 by furthering a
comprehensive understanding of the significance of leisure to the individual
and society.
