This course is an introduction to abnormal psychology.  It is divided into
two parts.  The first section considers perspectives about abnormal
behavior.  The concept of psychiatric diagnosis is considered in this
first section.  The second section of the course examines the
classification and treatment of abnormal behavior.  Symptoms, pictures,
etiological factors, and treatment interventions are examined.  Films,
audio and videotapes are utilized when appropriate and available.
