Psychology | Supervised Research I
P493 | ALL | --

(This description covers all sections of P493)
Students who sign up for P493 credits conduct supervised research in the
laboratory of a faculty member who sponsors their research project.
Students are expected to become involved in the research program of a
faculty member and conduct an independent experiment of modest magnitude.
Full participation in the research process is expected including
conducting literature searches, designing experiments, collecting data,
analyzing data, and writing up results. Students who enroll in P493 are
expected to enroll in P494. In general, three hours of laboratory work
is required for each credit hour of P493 that is taken. Students should
contact the undergraduate advising area and the lab in which they are
interested.
