David Heise

In class sessions and papers, graduate students in this
course explore theoretical perspectives, empirical
research, current issues, and debates in the field of
social psychology. The aim is to train sociologists
who can read, use, and extend the research literature
on social psychology. Grades are based heavily on a
course paper elaborating a specific interest related to
social psychology. Additionally, each student hands in
a weekly statement that responds to the main reading
for that week, and each student leads two group
discussions during the semester.
