Course Description and Content

This course seeks to help the student (1) identify and explain the
theoretical bases for study of the social-psychological aspects of
clothing, appearances and images and examine relevant research
based on theories; (2) analyze the importance of clothing and
other appearance-related products as means of personal and
social expressions of self; (3) critically examine research
evidence regarding the meaning and use of clothing at the
individual and group level.
