Analysis and prediction of synoptic scale weather systems, emphasizing
the mid-latitudes.  Other topics covered include: severe weather,
atmospheric/oceanic teleconnections and the use of synoptic
climatologies in environmental analyses.

This course is presented in a lecture and seminar format.
