An introduction to ancient history covering the civilizations of
Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome.  Basic survival kit of information
about the beginnings of our culture, plus recommended as a good background
for 300-level history courses in ancient history.  Four paperbacks; two
midterms, final, museum assignment.  Enrollment limited to freshmen and
sophomores.
