COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to provide practical experiences in athletic injury
management at the intercollegiate, clinical and secondary levels.  Students
are assigned clinical rotations based upon previous experiences,
professional interest, and academic needs.  These experiences are designed
to reinforce and enhance competencies established by the National Athletic
Trainers Association's Education Council.

An hours requirement of 250 hours per semester is necessary to comply with
accreditation requirements established by The National Athletic Trainers
Association.  The course is graded on a pass/fail basis.  Determinants for
successful completion include attendance at scheduled seminars, a formal
presentation, and demonstrated competency in sports injury management
skills.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Three contact hours per week for each hour of credit

COURSE GRADING:
Graded on S/F basis only.  GPA of 3.0 or better
