COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Emergency Medical Technician course prepares the student to care for patients in a variety of emergency settings. Emergency Medical Technicians assess and provide care for ill and injured patients. This course will prepare the student to take the Ind iana State certification examination. In addition, the students must successfully complete H317 in order to become certified. The student must be 18 years of age to become an Emergency Medical Technician in Indiana.
