Course Will Satisfy: Area C under Kinesiology requirements for exercise
science majors.  Others - elective.

CLASS MEETING:
Two 75 minute lectures per week

PURPOSE OF COURSE:
To provide an overview of corporate and wellness programs including the
justification,
organization and implementation of structured exercise programs.  The course
is focused to
include many of the theoretical and practical competencies for the ACSM
Health Fitness
Instructor Certification.

COURSE GRADING:
The course grade will be based on three exams.  The tentative grade
breakdown
will be:  Exam #1 (30%), Exam #2 (30%), and the final exam (40% with
approximately 30 percent being comprehensive).  There may also be some
required pass/fail homework assignments.
