P: Two years of high school algebra or M014, and one year of high school
geometry.

This section is a self-taught version of M025.  Although there are no formal
lectures, free tutoring is available at various times during the week.
Students will buy a CD, not a text.  The required work may be done on any
campus computer cluster, or possibly on a personal computer in a dormitory.
Class meets once a week for quizzes or exams.  Credit may not be applied
toward a degree in most programs, and a grade of C- or higher is needed to
satisfy the College of Arts and Sciences mathematics fundamental skills
requirement.  Note: Authorization is required.  Also, time conflicts should
not stop students from registering; special arrangements may be made.
