This course will continue the study of modern Persian begun in Elementary Persian I. We will study the
compound verb and verbal tenses beyond the simple past and present.  We will learn how to put
together compound and complex sentences and add approximately another three hundred new words
to our vocabulary.  Written and oral drills, graded readings and short written compositions, translation
exercises and simple conversations will all play a role in gaining a thorough command of these elements
of the language.
