Prerequisites: P101 and P102, or P106
Social psychology is the scientific study of social influence and
perception. Emphasis will be on using social psychological theory
and research to understand the society in which we live and potentially
bring about positive changes. Text: Aronson, Wilson, & Akert, Social
Psychology Format: Mixture of lecture and discussion. Evaluation: Probably
four tests, mixture of multiple choice and short answer. Final will
include both questions on last fourth of course and questions on
designated topics from earlier in the course.
