Surveys the evolution of "racial" ideas and ideologies among African
Americans.  Participants will discuss how Black intellectuals have
engaged in dialogue and debate about strategies for coping with
injustics, while formulating diverse concepts of justice, salvation,
artistry, and positive Black identity.
