Course Description and Content
Exploration of aesthetic and/or historical inspiration and
foundation for developing a fashion line. Development of
design philosophy and concepts leading to a fashion line for
senior project.
Course Components: Students develop a series of papers and
projects:
1) Design philosophy written statement
2) Design style written statement and story board/trend
3) Six design sketch exercises
4) Design line written statement and story board trend/trend
board and color/texture board
