Roman Culture meets from 9:05A-9:55A MWF in WH 004
This course is an examination and evaluation of the ancient Romans
based on their traditions and way of life and on their intellectual
and artistic achievements. Our approach will be both chronological
and topical and will this semester emphasize the physical remains of
this enduring civilization. The course format is that of the
traditional lecture, and standard note-taking skills will be
necessary.
There will be three, multiple-choice examinations (including
questions based on slide identifications), each of which will count
one-third of the course grade. No "extra credit" work will be
accepted in this course.
