This course meets from 1:25P-2:15P MWF in BH 332 along with G803

The Greeks regarded the Homeric poems as the best literature ever
produced, and many moderns have agreed with them.  This course is an
introduction to Homeric Greek, the form of Greek employed in epic
poetry.  We will read about two books of Homer's Iliad or Odyssey.
