Education | Methods of Teaching Reading II
E341 | 5235 | Amy Flint

E341, (meets 11:15 to 12:30 TR) Methods of Teaching Reading II, is the
final course offered in the literacy methods block for students
seeking a degree in elementary education. This course is focused
primarily on reading assessment issues. IU students will have
opportunities to review information from E340, examine current debates
regarding standardized tests, and learn alternative approaches to
assessment. Usually, there is a case study project that is connected
to the field experience, M401. The case study project enables students
to better understand one child’s literacy progress through a variety
of assessment measures.
