Prerequisite: M150 or equivalent. Intermediate study of contemporary
Italian conversation, grammar, reading, and writing. Introduction to
brief literary texts.

All students with previous course work in Italian must take a
placement examination. Contact the testing bureau, 855-1595,
for testing dates. Students must avoid final exam conflicts. See exam
