Authorized: Requires permission of the instructor.

Students will conduct individual research on specific topics
concerning the relationship between language and law. These topics
include, but are not limited to, "The English-only movement," "The
role of interpreters in the courtroom," and "Determination of disputed
authorship." The course grade will depend on seminar presentations and
a final term paper.
