The thrust of this course is to help you develop an understanding of
the people, processes, and resources involved in the administration of
libraries and information centers. It will introduce basic elements of
management principles for allocation and use of resources. It will
include an introduction to theoretical constructs as well as providing
a practical, hands-on approach to day-to-day management. The course
will present a variety of resources, examples, and potential solutions
that you may draw upon for future use as a manager and/or leader.
