Gender and Diversity in Art Education is a survey of art education
literature as it relates to women and other gender issues. This course
examines the history and competing philosophies of art education as a
foundation for contemporary art education as a component of general
education. There is an emphasis on issues that directly affect the
teaching of art within all aspects of educational systems.
