(A multi-campus technology course). Does the free market eliminate
or promote sex and race discrimination? Why are housework and
childcare economically disadvantageous to those who perform them?
Why might ethically/racially diverse women confront sexism
differently? This class provides an overview of the interplay of
racial/ethnic, class and gender systems of domination. We will also
examine union responses and strategies for addressing class, race,
and sex inequalities.
