The goal of Intermediate Biblical Hebrew Intermediate II is to enable
students to understand the Hebrew Bible in its original language. We
will emphasize accurate translation of Biblical Hebrew. Students will
review some essential biblical grammar and syntax, increase their
active vocabulary and learn how to use important translation tools
including reference grammars, lexicons, and commentaries. This course
also addresses issues in text criticism and interpretation.
