Philosophy | Introduction to Ethics
P140 | 3262 | Tba

Do rich nations have moral obligations to poor nations? Do we have
any duties to future generations? Does a fetus have a right to
life? To what extent is society justified in governing, by law,
sexual expression?

These are the kinds of practical moral questions that will be
discussed in this class. Issues of abstract ethical theory will be
grounded in the consideration of specific moral problems. We will
explore the ethical dimension of controversies about such topics as
abortion, euthanasia, censorship, prejudice, discrimination, and
economic injustice.
