	Problems and Controversies in Racial Politics is an intensive
eight-week course aimed at providing students with a theoretical
understanding of race and its socio-political implications in
contemporary American society. The course also addresses the problems
and controversies of race as it impacts employment, immigration,
education and affirmative action policies. Course requirements
include two examinations, homework assignments and a clearly
earmarked group project.
