What is Judaism?  The question is surprisingly difficult to answer.
In this course we will examine the texts, rituals, and beliefs of
Jews, both past and present.  We will also investigate how different
Jewish communities today construct and understand their Judaism and
Jewish identity.  There are no prerequisites.
